Project Description:
PULLMAN performed masonry restoration as part of a large-scale rehabilitation of Brooklyn Bridge.

Phase One involved restoration of the Brooklyn and Manhattan towers, and Brooklyn approaches, including granite repointing, stone dutchman, granite patching and crack repair, historic anchor treatment, general granite cleaning including removal of paint, graffiti, and efflorescence, brick repointing and replacement, and crack stitch repair.  PULLMAN was also responsible for access, including rigging, shielding and stair tower installation,

Phase Two involved replication of historic brick infill walls and rusticated panels, salvage of historic hardware and reinstallation of historic hardware, and removal/modification/reinstallation of historic stone at infill walls.
