Project Description:
Moynihan station served for over a century as the James A. Farley Post Office building. When it was decided to convert the building into the new Moynihan Train Station, Nicholson & Galloway was contracted to perform the following work: terracotta Cheneau unit replacement, masonry chemical cleaning, granite ashlar stone removal, granite dutchmans, brick removal and rebuilding, brick pointing, stucco repairs, steel window restoration, cast iron grilles restoration, wood and aluminum window restoration and replacement.
